We are planning to fly out our close family and friends for a destination wedding to London (about 60 people) for 6 nights. It would end up being 5 days and the night we come in at 6pm so that evening we would be having dinner with everyone near the hotel.

Now I have never been to a destination wedding like this so I am not so sure, should we schedule group activities? We were thinking of planning one thing for each day and letting people decide if they want to come ahead of time (send them a little RSVP type of card for each activity). Most of the areas we are looking at for marrying are an hour outside of London and would be an afternoon reception so we should be getting back around 530 to London, if so should we go out that night with people that night?

Now if you think this is a good idea to do this, what do you think we should do, if you have been there? We were going to try for one night to go to Wembly Stadium for a game, and for one day a tour around Stonehenge and the
country side.

We will be providing breakfast in the hotel with them, and pay for the group activities but the rest is on their own except the wedding and first nights dinner. We also will be providing them with an oyster card, is this fair?
Also we pay for the hotel, flight, and transportation to the wedding, and to and from the airport.

I have made several posts you must have missed. Last week we were informed that our venue was pulling out, and there was no available venues that were available. We no longer have the energy, time, or frankly will to spend time trying to replan the whole wedding for another date, so we have chosen to do a destination wedding that really just exemplifies us, please feel free to e-mail me!

Can i ask what is the most common banknote that can be seen in London. I know plenty people used credit cards and cheques nowdays, but I’m talking about CASH here.

Berlin by double decker bus to Kufurstendamm, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Alexanderplatz and assorted venues pixelation animation

I’m flying into Heathrow and will land at 655am. I’d like to take the megabus which leaves at 8am (i’m also booking tickets for the 1130am bus because i probably cant get through customs, I’m from america, and get to the London Victoria Coach station all within an hour and 5 minutes but i’d like to try). So how long would it take by train and how much/how long would a cab be?
