London is a busy place always bustling with people. That fact alone should be enough for you to hire movers in London if you are moving into this city. Getting movers in London for this event will surely save you from a lot of headache. They will be able to help you with everything, down to the important little details that you may forget in the midst of all activities without the help of professionals.

Movers in London are not difficult to find. There is one in almost every corner. However, finding the right movers in London, the ones you can trust and rely one, is a little bit more difficult. To get the very best service, you must be willing to do a little research on the currently available movers in London before you make your final choice.

So what do you need to know about the best movers in London? First, a good company will not overprice their services. It’s a well-known fact that prices in London are a lot higher compared to prices in other parts of England, so you should expect that movers in London will cost more than movers in Northampton. However, this doesn’t give the movers in London the licence to let their prices go up exponentially. Their prices should still be within reason, and of course, within your budget.

You should also consider getting the services of movers in London that provide storage space after you have moved to the city. Flats in London have limited spaces compared to houses in the smaller towns and countryside. If you’re moving out of a big house into a London flat with fewer square feet, you should either sell some of your stuff or find a safe place to keep them in. If selling is not an option, reliable movers in London often rent out storage space in which you can safely put the rest of your possessions. You, and you alone, will have access to your stuff whenever you want.

Most movers in London offer a man and van service, which means they supply the manpower (drivers, lifters, packers) and the vans used to transport your possession. Before settling with your chosen movers in London, make sure that both the man and the van parts of the service offered are dependable. Are the vans and trucks roomy enough to carry your stuff? Does the company have a record of customers complaining about their possessions getting lost or manhandled? When choosing movers in London, you can’t sacrifice either aspect of the service.

Finally, when choosing one among the many movers in London, always check any testimonials and feedback that back up each company. Whatever the company says about its services is nothing compared to what customers say about its performance. If you’re new to the city, you can’t risk anything going wrong with your moving in. Reliable movers in London can help you get settled as smoothly as possible so you can comfortably start your life in the city.

Man and Van offers House and Office Removals, packing and storage service in London and UK, Ireland and Europe with free online quotation, customs clearance and in transit insurance. For details visit http://www.manandvan.org/index.htm

A ticket seller typically sells tickets to whatever show is playing at a theatre. A ticket broker, on the other hand, is a full-service ticket agent who has tickets available to all types of theatrical shows. This includes Broadway plays and musicals, both on Broadway and the national Broadway touring shows that play throughout the country.

Las Vegas show tickets are also available from a premium online ticket broker. You can check out all of the shows that are currently playing online any time of the day or night that is convenient for you, and select the ones at the theatres in your hometown or any theatre nationwide that you plan to visit.

There are many Broadway shows for which your ticket broker can supply you with theater tickets. A very unique show for which your ticket broker should have a variety of show tickets is Avenue Q. If you grew up watching Sesame Street, you may find a particular attachment to the storyline in Avenue Q, which draws its inspiration from Sesame Street. There are puppet characters that parody several of the Sesame Street puppets, as well as human characters in this play, and you see actors onstage who operate the puppets. This is not a play for children, however, but adults, because it deals with topics such as finding a purpose in life, racism, homosexuality, and even pornography. The name Avenue Q is a fictional place where the play takes place. Your ticket broker can help you find the theater tickets you want in order to catch this wonderful musical in the many cities where it is currently playing. Lovers of dance will enjoy the Broadway sensation known as Billy Elliot.

You might remember the movie by the same name; it is in fact essentially the same story, rewritten into a musical theatre form originally for London’s West End, the equivalent of America’s Broadway. This play tells the story of Billy, who is the child of a coalminer. He is supposed to be going to boxing lessons, but instead starts hanging out at a ballet class held in the same building. Eventually, without his family’s knowledge, he takes dance classes. Although at first his family doesn’t want him to be a dancer, after they see him dance they help him get to auditions for the Royal Ballet School, where he is accepted. Your online ticket broker has theater tickets for this musical available in New York City, for those fortunate enough to live in or those who will be visiting the Big Apple. When you order show tickets from an online ticket broker, you will want to make sure that the website offers secure ordering and that your tickets will arrive in time for the play you want to see. A refund should also be available if the event is canceled and not rescheduled. Once this is assured, you can order the show tickets want, worry-free.

Wayne Hemrick writes about where to find good theater tickets.

i had to write a breif biography on Chinua Achebe
could you read it and see if its ok and tell me what i should correct? please?????????????????????

Chinua Achebe

Chinua Achebe was born in an Igbo village of Ogidi south of Nigeria on November 16, 1930. His parents Isaiah Achebe and Janet Lloegbuham were converts to the protestant church mission society in Nigeria, but his father still practiced old rituals of his ancestor’s religion combined with his Christians beliefs. This influenced Achebe a great deal.
Chinua excelled in school and won a scholarship as an undergraduate to the university college (university of Ibadan) to study Medicine. A year later Achebe realized that Medicine was not for him, and changed his courses to English, History and Theology. While in college Chinua made his debut as a writer by writing stories, essays and letters about philosophy and freedom in academia, to the school newspaper.
After college he instantly got a job as a English teacher, at a school where he taught for four months. After his experience as a teacher he got a job at the Nigerian broadcasting service. He then was selected for training in London at the staff school run by the British Broadcasting Corporation.
He then came back to Nigeria where he worked on his first novel called Things fall Apart. After it was published the book received many excellent reviews and later, after its sequels, it became one of the most important books in the African literature and Achebe the most translated African writer of all times.
In 1967 the southern region of Nigeria broke away to form the Republic of Biafra, where a civil war broke. At the end he and other writers, went on a tour to the U. S. to raise awareness to the dire situation in Biafra. When he returned he took a job at the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, he extended his writings and wrote a 5th novel. He also made the famous criticism on a well known novel called “Heart of Darkness” where he called the author Conrad a “thorough racist”
In his novels Achebe usually describes the Igbo Culture embodied by European Colonialism, and its effects on his people and Africa itself. With his books people around the world saw how the lives of the African people were deeply affected by the Western civilization, and got to know their tradition and culture.
After his many works Achebe came to be known as “The Father of Modern African Writing.”

I’m 14, I live in Melbourne, Australia.

Ok… next year, we’re probably going to London for a week, and Portugal for 2 weeks. BUT this trip with my family clashes with my touring of China with my school orchestra :( And if I go to China, I miss out on my family’s trip to Europe AND I can’t do anything else in terms of ‘overseas things’ with my school (no Japanese tour, no French exchange etc).

Oh :’( What do I do? How I’d love to go to China with my symphony orchestra… some of my friends are going, too. But then again, I haven’t been to the UK since I was 4, and I’ve never been to Portugal.

I’M SO CONFUZZLED! Please give me advice :)
And I know this is Books & Authors, but I just wanted my fellow readers advice.
