The rail company who operate this route is East Coast Trains. from London Kings Cross Station; go to their website http://www.eastcoast.co.uk You should booking now for specific trains, be able to find some very low fares (except for the period December 29th – Jan 2nd) With the advance purchase rail fare system you need to book two one way fares – London Kings Cross to Edinburgh and Edinburgh to London Kings Cross
